LOUISE CREEK TRAIL

The gloomy, overcast sky persisted as I started my hike from Tramline trailhead near Lake Louise Railway Station. The fact that the parking lot was full had left me with no choice but to hike from there, but it turned out to be an awesome experience. Extra 2.5 miles each way, occasionally accompanied by light shower, let me explore part of the beautiful forest of Lake Louise that I would’ve never done otherwise. Louise Creek, flowing quite nicely along the trail, was such a pleasant surprise all the way to the lake. What a gem that was less trekked!

  1. I remember with fondness hiking around Lake Louise and the gorgeous reflexions on the lake. It’s always impressive when one can take such gorgeous pictures under a cloudy/rainy sky instead of under the sun. Sometimes, we just have to appreciate what a little mist can bring.

    Happy hiking!

    • Thanks, and it is always good to walk around the lake. It wasn’t my first time hiking in the area but was the most memorable time that I had. Maybe because I knew exactly what I wanted to see. And because I know that I am the happiest when I am in the mountains. 🙂 Thanks for checking it out. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
