After going up Cascade Canyon Trail for a while along the beautiful Cascade Creek, I first walked over the Cascade Creek bridge to cross the creek and then reached a junction where the trail split into two – one goes up to Inspiration Point and the other goes down to Jenny Lake, which basically turns into a loop. I decided to take a break here as many hikers did. While sitting right by the creek and munching on snacks, I took some photos of the stream that ran vigorously. I wondered if this trail would be open in winter when it snows.
